If you were to tell teenage Adrienne that she would spend a summer interning with the Law Library of Congress, she would have rolled her eyes and laughed her way out of the room.
Fast forward twenty years (practically two lifetimes for a teenager), and here I am, about to embark on an unbelievable opportunity to guest blog for the Law Library of Congress, LLOC for short. The program runs for three months, with a jam-packed calendar full of webinars, trainings, research, and the highly coveted possibility to have your blog published on In Custodia Legis, the official blog of LLOC. I pulled out my worn Library of Congress sweatshirt for an early morning walk, a small sense of pride welling inside me as I feel a personal connection with my attire. It's time to dive in!
This blog will cover the course of the next three months, documenting my progress through this internship. Hopefully by the end we'll see some high quality blog posts ready for publication!
