Figure 1: Screenshot of the "technical difficulties" page.
This has been happening a lot lately and although I had planned on including a screenshot of the Internship page, I quite enjoy the different old photos that the Library of Congress uses as placeholders. Keep refreshing if you get one, the photos vary and they're all quite interesting.
Last week concluded our IFP (Internship and Fellowship Programs) webinar series. It's kind of sad because I had become quite accustomed to this weekly series of skill building. I've met a lot of people virtually, which for someone who did not work and was a new mom throughout the pandemic, has been the most social I have been in literal years. It's been nice. Although the practicum program concludes this week, the LOC internship program does not end for one more week. This gives me time to wrap up my blog post and submit it next week. I'm excited and hopeful that it will get published sometime. Many interns had already gone through an LOC summer. Part of me wonders if I might reapply. What new things will I learn? Will I be able to pump out multiple articles? We'll see. A lot of editing this week. I am writing and rewriting because I am never satisfied so this will be a long couple of weeks getting this post perfect.
