This is an image of the new LinkedIn connections I made during the Library of Congress LinkedIn webinar.
Today we had a LinkedIn session hosted by the Library of Congress. Interns and fellows from across the Library were invited to this, and we heard from a few different people about their experiences networking and building their professional brand. It was definitely helpful, especially considering my LinkedIn skills are seriously underdeveloped. We also shared our LinkedIn profiles and networked with various other interns. I spent a little time messaging with a few people who ended up working in division so it was nice to communicate with people going through the same stuff I am.
I also spent a couple hours researching and developing an outline for my blogs. Part of my "research" involved watching clips of the Conjuring and the Amityville Horror which, for a person who gets easily scared at night, I made sure to do this during the daylight, haha. It's amazing how many strange noises a house has in the nighttime, after you've watched some scary haunted house movie, haha.
