This is the week that we turn in our topic proposals. I have spent a lot of time exploring topics and narrowing down my ideas. The prompt form is as follows and its helped me determine whether these topics are appropriate for this forum. If I cannot find a lot of legitimate sources, then I question whether or not it will pass as a topic.

I have been working on the Japanese internment camp topic, specifically the ones that my grandparents were interred at. I am wanting to take the angle of really delving into specific slices of daily life, some of the personal trials that many Japanese Americans faced. In addition to readily available documents and open-source photos on the internet, I have a wealth of resources passed down from my family that I will propose using.
I am also working on the legalities of haunted houses. States differ when it comes to real estate laws on "stigmatized" houses. There have been recent cases regarding poltergists which I found interesting.
I am still exporing more topics and I am hoping that I can come up with a few more to turn in.
