I've been anticipating today's webinar all week. It's an introduction to the Law Library's website, resources, and basic legal knowledge. I love when these webinars dive into the history of the Library as well as the more relevant practical information. This webinar was particularly useful as the law librarian showed us how to access different areas of the website and provided us with helpful tips and tricks. Even though I have a legal background, its always beneficial to hear refreshers on appropriate legal search terminology.
I did learn that we will be using a different citation manual for the blog posts. I am used to using BlueBook for legal documents and APA for social science and library science. But because we are writing press documents, we are following Associated Press (AP) style. Something new to learn!
