So. Did you know that the Library of Congress has this humungous campus dedicated to audio visual conservation? Yeah, neither did I. Apparently in Culpepper, VA there is large, gorgeous building that houses over 90 miles of shelving, consisting of the Library of Congress' ENTIRE collection. I have to repeat myself. NINETY MILES of shelving. I am floored that a) this exists and b) I've never heard or even considered that this exists. One of the greatest things about this internship is how much I have learned about the Library of Congress- and now I have no doubt in my mind why this is the world's greatest library.

More work on the blog, which is feeling daunting at the moment. I have made the tough decision to cut down to only one official blog post this summer. I would still like to work on the other ones, but perhaps I will use the information I have learned here and use my post for something else. I am seriously considering turning this website into something blog-ish after this semester.
